Villains Are The New Heroes

The Legion of Doom

Is it a bird?!

Is it a plane?!

No, it is these villains messing up the day.

Fuck… can we just have a normal day without having The Joker, Lex Luthor, Bane, Brainiac, or all these other damn anti-heroes messing up the “order” of society. All they do is engage in topics that create discomfort and disorder in society. They put a ton of effort into making it relevant to talk about these things which is so not “normal” in society. We need the Batman and Superman to investigate and stop these villains and show them that society doesn’t need discomfort by conversing or acting on these topics that could affect society next year or the decade to come.

Only their knowledge was important…..The fewer beings who have the knowledge, the more precise it becomes.
Only their knowledge was important…..The fewer beings who have the knowledge, the more precise it becomes- Brainiac

Brainiac is the first villain we need to stop. If you don’t know anything about Brainiac, just know one thing: He’s obsessed with obtaining all the data and information of the world. His sole purpose is to go planet to planet collecting these data. Once Brainiac is done collecting these data, he annihilates the planet and moves on to another. Society doesn’t need conversation about who has access and control to these big data as they call it. However, society can’t allow this topic to be conversed, so we send the man dressed in blue and red aka Superman to stop these conversations from putting a mark on our society.

President? Foolish, faceless man; my campaign is a farce. A small part of a much grander scheme. President… do you know how much power I’d have to give up to be President? That’s right, conspiracy buff. I spent 75 million dollars on a fake Presidential campaign, all just to tick Superman off.”

The next villain that has to be stopped is none other than the man, Lex Luthor. He is probably one of the most creative, yet formidable opponent. Lex Luthor owns a million dollar company called Lex Corps that controls a ton of corporate headquarters including The Daily Planet. In addition, Lex Luthor has interest not running for mayor of Metropolis, but president of the country. Educating myself and engaging in conversation to learn more about what he can do is not what we need. We need superman to really jack him up, toss him around, and forbid this from occurring. That way we can go back to our normal lives and be comfortable. Damn, Superman triumphs again!

No one can save Gotham. When a forest grows too wild, a purging fire is inevitable and natural. Tomorrow the world will watch in horror as its greatest city tears itself apart, through fear. The movement back to harmony will be unstoppable this time.

Finally, we could take down Joker, but we need to go after a bigger fish: Ra’s Al Gaul, the leader of the League of Shadows. Ra’s Al Gaul believes that Batman is his successor and will carry on his legacy as he tries to make the world less corrupt and cleaner. One of Ra’s Al Gaul method of getting this way is by getting rid of criminals who are hurting the environment and making sure he is immortal using the Lazarus Pit to stay alive to protect it. Is it that obvious?! For Ra’s Al Ghul, he sees the need for action is to invoke fear to return the environment to its natural state. Overall, we(society) can’t deny that this may be the case, but we can’t take chances on this, so we send the Batman to save our troubles!

Talking about villains is not fun at all. They go to the extremes to have conversations about things that may impact how we live as a society such as Big Data, politics, business, climate change, etc. So, the best way to just shut these villains up and normalize society is to send our glorified heroes Batman and Superman to save the day. This way we don’t need to have conversations about these topics or any other topics that affect society. We can keep things in “order” or staying the same. Then, we shall have a day where society can live in peace and harmony with no conversation?! Wow, I would love to be Batman and Superman for sure next Halloween haha..

Moral: Having conversations about topics and things that affect society are important! It grows us as thinkers, allows us to see various perspectives, and presents opportunities we may not have thought about to create impact.
